Rarities Texas Free-For-All

At the Triple Crown Academy in Hutto, Texas this weekend, Romeo won three Best of Breeds, 2 Best of Opposite Sex, a Group 1, Group 2, Group 4 and a Best In Show Adult! Giulietta won Best of Opposite Sex and Nicoletta won four Best of Breed Puppy and four Best Puppy in Group.

Nicoletta arrives...again

Due to an unforeseen overseas transfer of Nicoletta's first family, she arrives at the San Francisco International Airport in California from Newark, New Jersey today!

IABCA Hillsboro, Oregon

Romeo won Best of Breed and a Group 3 this weekend. Romeo and Giulietta won two Best In Show Brace and a Reserve Best In Show Brace. We didn't take any "formal" show photos this weekend, but here are some fun shots of Romeo in one of his favorite positions called the "squirrel", Romeo and Giulietta with their friend Sebastien (a Norwegian Lundehund) and Romeo pooped out at the end of the day!

Nicoletta arrived at Newark International Airport today...finally and what a huge relief to her family, who waited so long to welcome her! Here are a couple of photos with her new sister Gabi:

Nicoletta is found

Nicoletta mysteriously showed up at the Milan International Airport, after employees were threatened to have their residences searched by officials. She seemed to be fine and will be spending the night with a policeman until Morgan can come to see her in the morning, since Milan is a few hours away from where Morgan lives.

Rarities Mt. Rainier Classic

We brought home lots of ribbons this weekend from Ravensdale, Washington! Romeo won four Best of Breeds and Best of Winners, a Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a Best In Show Adult and Giulietta won two Best of Opposite Sex.

Nicoletta is stolen

Morgan dropped off Nicoletta at Milan International Airport, at the Alitalia Cargo Department along with Paolo, another puppy from a different litter, as both were scheduled to travel to Newark, New Jersey together on the same flight. However, only Paolo made it on the airplane; Nicoletta's kennel was found empty with the door wide open, still in Alitalia's Cargo Department! Morgan has notified the officials of Alitalia Airlines, as well as the police, since it was highly unlikely that a baby puppy could possibly break out of a kennel and disappear unseen by anyone in the Cargo Department, which was completely secured.

Nicoletta is born

Nicoletta was born in Genoa, Italy today! Her sire is Ch. Nuccio de Santis and her dam is Olivia del Morgan, both of them fawn. Her breeder is Morgan Ivaldi and she is one of only two females in a litter of seven (sister Ripley, brothers Enzo, Gino...)

IABCA Anaheim, California

Romeo won two Best of Breeds and one Group 3 and Giulietta won one Best of Breed and Reserve Best In Show Rare Breed Puppy. Together, they won two Best In Show Brace and one Reserve Best In Show Brace.

Rarities Canyon Classic

We attended our first Rarities Show in Anaheim, California this weekend and for the first time, we had the only Cane Corsos competing. However, there were 6 dogs total in the working group: a Dogo Argentino, a Dogue de Bordeaux, a Fila Brasileiro, a South African Boerboel and a Neapolitan Mastiff. Romeo won Best of Breed and Best of Winners in 4 shows, Best of Opposite Sex in 1 show, and two Group 3's. Giulietta won Best of Breed and Best of Winners in 1 show, Best of Opposite Sex in 4 shows, and 1 Group 4.

IABCA Vallejo, California

Romeo won Best of Breed Puppy in all 3 shows this weekend and went on to win two Group 2's as well, among a very large working group. Romeo and Giulietta won Best In Show Brace and two Reserve Best In Show Brace rosettes.
